1. Fear of a Black Hat (1994) directed by Rusty Cundieff was lesser known than CB4 (1993) which featured Chris Rock. Check out a sample from the movie.
2. Tales from the Hood (1995) was also directed by Rusty Cundieff. The funeral director is played by Clarence Williams III who was also in a Tales from the Crypt episode from which the movie is based. Here’s the trailer.
3. Oogie Boogie from The Nightmare Before Christmas (1993) was based on Cab Calloway’s animated performance in the Betty Boop cartoon, Minnie the Moocher (named after Calloway’s song).
